Sixth Form – Expectations

The role of Sixth Form students around the Academy

Our Sixth Form students are the senior members of our Academy and therefore must act appropriately around school. We ask that they set standards of behaviour, which other students can aspire to.

Many of our sixth form students help younger students, either in lessons supporting learning, mentoring during registrations our helping out during whole school activities.

We will regularly ask students to represent the Academy with both internal and external activities, for example, interviews, meetings with local community, Remembrance Day etc.
A Senior Student Leadership Team is appointed yearly to represent the Sixth Form and as such organise fundraising events, help at parent’s evenings, with parental tours, presentations to parents at open and awards evenings.
