SRPA receive two Young Enterprise awards!
During this academic year, our year 12 students have established and operated a highly successful Young Enterprise company ‘Solare’. They have recruited their team, created a business plan and marketing strategy as well as sourcing and selling their product – for Solare this has been environmentally friendly T-shirts. The team have worked tirelessly alongside their studies to run a successful company and prepare for the Lincolnshire heat of the competition.
I am therefore delighted to announce that Sir Robert Pattinson Academy have not only achieved the Sustainability and Marketing awards but have also been awarded Company of the Year 2020 for Lincolnshire. As a business teacher in Lincolnshire for 20 years, I can tell you this award is highly coveted amongst schools and is hotly contested each year. To achieve Company of the Year is a tremendous achievement for our students and all of the staff involved. There will be a presentation of our Lincolnshire trophy when schools reopen and SRPA now move onto the regional heat later this term.
For our year 11 pupils soon to be joining us in the sixth form, I am hoping your team will follow in Solare’s footsteps and help us keep our title. If you would like to find out more about Young Enterprise, please visit https://www.young-enterprise.org.uk/
Finally, I am sure you will join me in congratulating our students who have done themselves and the Academy exceptionally proud with their achievements and to wish them the very best of luck as they move onto the next round. You can follow their achievements on our Instagram sirrobertpattinson as well as Solare’s page solareofficial_.
